Ellen Eagle will teach a four-day pastel portrait workshop at Townsend Atelier[1], in Chattanooga, TN, May 7–10, 2018. The workshop’s goal is to “observe with a clear and careful eye our model’s unique structure, color, value relationships and posture.” If you cannot attend, many of Eagle’s lessons are distilled in her 2013 book Pastel Painting Atelier: Essential Lessons in Techniques, Practices, and Materials.[2]
