As part of the “Conversations Among Painters” series, Catherine Redmond organized an informal evening talk on October 3 with fellow Pratt professors Hannah BarrettNancy Grimes, and Frank Lind to discuss the ideas of the mysterious Balthus. Balthus: Cats and Girls—Paintings and Provocations is on view at Metropolitan Museum through January 12, 2014.
