Richard Barnet Exhibiting in Show Honoring Richard Miller

Richard Miller & His Circle is an exhibition at Brookgreen Gardens (Pawley’s Island, SC), honoring American figurative sculptor Richard McDermott Miller, who died in 2004 at age 82. Brookgreen Gardens has an amazing collection of American sculpture on 80 acres that belonged to Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, and before that, was the site of lowland rice plantations. The exhibit, set up at the Rainey Sculpture Pavillion, features eighty-three works by sixteen artists, including Richard Barnet. Thirty-one works are two-dimensional, and fifty-two are three-dimensional sculptures. The exhibition, which opened April 14, continues through July 29, 2018.
