Nine graduates of the Art Students League’s Certificate Program for 2015 are exhibiting work in The Final Project 2015. This exhibition marks the culmination of a four-year course of study and offers students an opportunity to present a cohesive body of work in a selected discipline. The Certificate Program emphasizes drawing to provide every student with a strong foundation; from there, students choose a concentration in painting, sculpture, or printmaking. The Final Project this year includes work by Diego Anaya, Sukyung Kim, Ayumi Nakao, Yael Medrez, Mur, Alba Sanchez, Okada Satoshi, Takashi Uesugi, and Angel Valentin. The exhibition opens on June 17 at Elga Wimmer and Associates (526 West 26th Street #310) and continues through June 30, 2015.
