Timothy J. Clark in Two Museum Exhibitions

The Art Students League’s Interim Executive Director Timothy J. Clark has paintings in two museum exhibitions that will be closing this week. His painting San Marco hangs in Venetian Views show at the San Diego Museum of Art next to paintings by the seventeenth-century masters Canaletto, Bellotto, and Guardi. The popularity of the show resulted in its being extended for several months. Clark’s watercolor The Black Bicycle is part of the Laguna Art Museum’s exhibition of recent acquisitions that includes paintings by Wayne Thiebaud and Tony DeLap. In a review for the Laguna Beach Independent, local art critic Daniella Walsh named Clark’s Black Bicycle her personal favorite.
