Ronnie Landfield: Five Decades opens at Stux + Haller (24 West 57 Street, Fl. 6) on January 13, 2016. The retrospective includes a lush catalogue (digital version here) with essays by Will Corwin and Carl Belz and an interview with Landfield by Daniella Hansen and Stefan Stux. Landfield discusses his beginnings, the art world of the 1960s, and the cohort of artists who most inspired him. He also offers some sage advice for art students: Don’t think, just paint. The exhibition continues through February 20, 2016.
