Four paintings from Richard Pantell’s bather series are on view in Species and Spirit: Contemporary Visions. This three-person exhibition, which opened November 4 at Green Kill[1] (Kingston, NY), also includes paintings by Joanne Pagano Weber and sculptures by Janice Mauro. Curated by Bruce Weber, the exhibition redefines the narrative tradition and explores the essential questions of human existence: Who are we? How did we get here? Where are we going? The artists do so in simultaneously humorous and disturbing ways. The show, open Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 to 9 p.m., continues through December 5, 2017.
