Pulse New York, an international art fair in its eighth year, will open on May 9 at the Metropolitan Pavilion (125 West 18th Street) with “60 national and international galleries exhibiting a blend of emerging and established artists working in all media from photography, painting, and sculpture to performance, installation, and video art.” Charles Hinman will be showing five shaped canvases as part of the Marc Straus Gallery. The fair continues through May 12.
